(UPDATE, 4:40 p.m.) Cleanup crews were on the scene of a train derailment Tuesday afternoon near the Trail Creek Road exit off I-90 between Bozeman and Livingston.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m. Montana Rail Link (MRL) officials said an estimated 40 coal-filled cars were involved. Spilled coal was visible at the scene.
MRL said the train was not carrying any hazardous material, and there were no injuries. The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
They currently do not have an estimated time for reopening the track.

Several coal-filled cars overturned near the Trail Creek Road exit off Interstate 90 eastbound on Bozeman Pass.
Gallatin County Emergency Management reported that Trail Creek Road is open.
No environmental issues exist, according to Gallatin County Emergency Management, and Montana Rail Link is on scene starting the cleanup process.
