Water pumps stolen from Raynesford Volunteer Fire Department

Thieves in Judith Basin County stole two water pumps belonging to the Raynesford Volunteer Fire Department.

According to the Judith Basin County Sheriff’s Office, the pumps were stolen from behind Michels Service Station late on January 3 or early January 4.

They said the pumps are used to fill the fire trucks from Big Otter Creek.

Undersheriff Tim Wilhelms said the stolen pumps are valued at $1,800.

One pump is a 3-inch Briggs and Stratton Monarch pump, model number TSP-3. The other is a 2-inch Honda pump, model number WMP20X.
