BIG HORN COUNTY – A single-car accident Friday night in Big Horn County left one person dead and two injured.
According to the Montana Highway Patrol, at around 10:30 p.m. Friday, a car fleeing from the Bureau of Indian Affairs was going westbound on Highway 212, lost control and crashed.
A 17-year-old male and a 21-year-old female, who were in the vehicle, were not wearing a seat belt and were ejected from the car.
A 15-year-old girl was also in the vehicle.
The male died at the scene of the accident, and the two females were transported to a hospital in Billings.
Alcohol and speed are considered factors.
