Reward increased to $10K in Roasting Stick disappearance

Chippewa Cree Law Enforcement Services is requesting the public’s help for any information in locating Richard “Smokey” Roasting Stick.

Roasting Stick was last seen on Friday, February 10th, 2017, at the Northern Winz Casino on Highway 87. At the time of his disappearance, he was 57 years old, and is 5’8″ tall, about 155 pounds, with brown and gray hair.

Several public notices and news articles were posted and broadcast in the days and weeks after his disappearance.

On December 18, 2018, the reward for information about his disappearance was increased from $1,000 to $10,000.

Anyone with information about Roasting Stick is asked to call investigator Ed Long Knife, Jr., at 406-390-0980.

In addition, Chippewa Cree Law Enforcement Services is continuing to ask for help in locating Robert “Robbie” Alexander, who was last seen south of Rocky Boy on April 27, 2013. A $10,000 reward is also offered in this case.
