A Missoula man died in a one-vehicle crash on Thursday night after he hit two parked vehicles.
The Missoula County Sheriff/Coroner has identified the victim as 26-year-old Kyle Winchester.
Missoula Police Department spokesman Sgt. Travis Welsh says the man was driving on Schramm Street just west of North Reserve Street at 7:15 p.m. when he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into two parked vehicles.
The car then tipped over onto the driver’s side after the collision.
Welsh says that Winchester died at the scene while a 24-year-old male passenger was taken to a hospital for injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Welsh says neither man was wearing a seatbelt; there is no word at this point if Winchester was impaired.
Missoula police continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
