Garrett Chew, who lives south of Bigfork, tells us a mama bear recently walked by their downstairs window and stared eye to eye with his wife for a few seconds.
He says three cubs then joined their mother.
The bears walked closer to the house, where this video was taken.
The bears ate for about five minutes and then left.
Garrett says they see a lot of wildlife in their area, including elk, wolves, and bears – but usually not this many at once.
