Roosevelt County crash victim identified

Krystal Brown has been identified by the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office as the woman who died in a rollover crash on Monday.

The crash was reported to the Montana Highway Patrol at 10:16 p.m. on Monday. It happened on Road 1074 near Powder River Road.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, a Dodge Caravan was northbound at around 10:15 p.m. when it went off the right side of the road and down a steep ditch.

The vehicle rolled several times and landed on the driver’s side facing south.

The 32-year-old male driver and a 30-year-old female passenger were taken to a hospital with injuries. The nature and severity of their injuries has not been disclosed.

Brown, 33 years old, died in the crash; she was from Wolf Point.

The three occupants were not wearing seat belts. Alcohol, drugs, and speed are suspected factors in the crash, according to the MHP.
