Scores of people gathered at the chapel at Malmstrom Air Force Base on Monday to honor Master Sergeant Kurt E. Dodd.
Dodd, 39 years old, passed away on September 16, due to a medical condition.
His fellow airmen praised his service and said that he had a big impact on all those around him.
He was born to Michael and Melanie Dodd on June 9, 1979 in West Branch, Michigan. He joined the United States Air Force when he grew up.
He married Traci Files in 2010 in Lompoc, California. They have two sons, Aiden and Kylan.
Kurt enjoyed golf, teaching, coaching, sports, music, movies and spending time with family.
