GREAT FALLS — The annual Wraps & Taps fundraiser is on at the Mighty Mo to meet your gift-wrapping needs and the needs of a local nonprofit for child abuse victims.

The Great Falls Children's Receiving Home is an agency that provides emergency care for children in and around Cascade County, in situations of abuse and neglect.

For 15 years now, the organization has held this event to raise money for the youth they support, wrapping gifts at low costs.

Customer Elena Cimentao discovered this event several years ago and has been coming every year since.

“It's less effort for me to do it and I love where the money's going to the kids. And I love that it's going to kids in need. And it helps, so it's worth the money that I spend here,” Cimentao said.

In addition to supporting a good cause, Cimentao said she loves how well the workers wrap her gifts. “They wrap gorgeous...they have a lot of different wrapping and colors,” Cimentao said.

Great Falls Children's Receiving Home Board Member Shawna Severson has volunteered to help wrap for the past five years and believes doing so makes a difference. “It's really important to have this home in this community. This is a way for you to give back to the community, while getting your presents wrapped, which is tough around the holidays to get in sometimes,” Severson said.

Wraps & Taps will continue at the Mighty Mo Brewing Co on 412 Central Ave from 11:30 am to 8 p.m. everyday from now through December 24th.

Costs range from $3-$10, depending on the size of the gift :

Small: $3
Medium: $5
Large: $7
Extra Large: $10

If you get 4 gifts wrapped, your fifth is free.
