GREAT FALLS — Saturday morning marked the grand opening of The Crafter’s Lounge, a brand new consignment and craft shop in Great Falls.

After 10 years of planning, Great Falls craftswoman Tammy Suek finally realized her dream of opening a craft store.

“I was taking a class online from a motivational speaker and it was just something I needed to do,”

She turned her 25-year hobby into a hub for Great Falls crafters like herself. "There are a lot of crafters in Great Falls. I know a lot of them. I've crafted with them...Great Falls is a great crafting place," she said.

While Suek has a special place in her heart for crafting she said it's an activity that can be enjoyed by anyone. “All ages. All genders. I have a lot of men friends who also craft. So, it's for everybody,” Suek said.

The Crafter’s Lounge features consignment items in front and a full craft space in the back

Customers can pay $5 for an hour of full access to Suek’s crafting supplies and space or $10 for a day of unlimited use of her materials.

The Crafter’s Lounge Lounge is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The new business is located directly across from the Montana Expo Park at 724 6th street NW. Click here to visit the Facebook page.
