GREAT FALLS — As the holidays approach the Great Falls Uptown Optimist Club is setting up their annual Christmas tree lot.

The lot is located at the Montana ExpoPark inside the FFA beef barn. Proceeds from the sales of trees and wreaths help support the large number of programs the club operates to benefit kids and teens in the Great Falls community.

Optimist member Denny Hanenburg has been helping out with the lot and says it is with a giving heart that they continue to operate their lot. “Sometimes when people can’t really afford a tree, we make sure they go home with one and it’s just heartwarming to know you helped them out a little bit.”

The tree lot will be opening the day after Thanksgiving, and will be open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. daily through December 16th. For more information, call 406-750-1283.

You can find more on the Great Falls Uptown Optimist club at their website. More information on the tree lot is available at GoExpoPark.
