  • The Montana Department of Labor & Industry has issued more than $300 million in unemployment payments since March - but not everyone is getting the benefits they've earned right away. Mark Statham, a bus driver for Great Falls Transit, was furloughed due to COVID-19 back in March and just collected his first check last week. (link)
  • There were no new COVID-19 cases in Montana, marking the fifth consecutive day without a new confirmed case. But Yellowstone County health officials reported Tuesday morning a COVID-19 related death. (link)
  • In a project that had been in the works since early 2019 and under construction since February 2020, the Cascade County Jail finished installing a brand new switchboard system. The system will be more reliable and have many more features than the old system, according to Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter. (link)
