(UPDATE, 7:27 pm) The Walgreens store has re-opened and is back to business as usual.
A store employee declined to tell KRTV why the store had closed.
We have contacted the corporate Walgreens media relations office for an explanation, but we have not yet received a response.
(1st REPORT, 3:34 pm) The Walgreens store on 10th Avenue South in Great Falls has closed temporarily.
We began receiving messages about the closure early Monday afternoon.
The Walgreens corporate website confirmed the closure, as did a recorded message when KRTV called the store.
Our call was then routed to a pharmacy call center; the person who answered was not able to say why the store is temporarily closed.
A sign on the door states: "Due to unforseen (sic) circumstances this store will be temporarily closed. We apologize for the inconvenience." There is no explanation posted explaining the closure.
Several people have confirmed to MTN News that the drive-thru pharmacy is also closed.
The Walgreens store on 3rd Street NW closed for several hours last week; we tried to get information about the closure, but nobody from Walgreens replied to our requests for details.
We will update you if we get any details about the situation.
