GREAT FALLS — For the past two years, Aaron Weissman, the owner of the Teriyaki Madness restaurant in Great Falls, has held the title Franchisee of the Year within the "TMAD" system.
Weissman brought the franchise to Great Falls in April 2017 and has been sauteeing up success for his shop ever since. “I tried the food and I thought, ‘Oh my God, it’s so good.’ I thought we had to have one of these in Great Falls. So I worked hard for a couple of years and I made sure that we got one open,” Weissman said.
He traded a career in industrial distribution for the food industry and brought a national franchise he thought the people of Great Falls wanted.
“There’s quite a lot that you have to do to get involved in the food business but ultimately those of us who are involved in the food business like making people happy and like providing hospitality,” Weissman said.
Although there are 108 locations scattered throughout the country, the Great Falls store is the only location in the Northwestern region from Washington to North Dakota.
“This is the only Teriyaki Madness in the state of Montana. We’re actually the only Teriyaki Madness in a couple states, really it’s brand new for our region,” Weissman said.
Having no food industry experience himself, Weissman said his staff is the ingredient he needs to achieve. “To be the number one franchise in the system, the number one store in the system, just says that we've got a great team of people working here."
Teriyaki Madness is located at 1710 10th Avenue South.
