GREAT FALLS — For 25 years, the Rotary Club in Great Falls has honored Eagle Scout and Gold Scout recipients in Central Montana.
The Scouts provide hundreds of service hours to their communities.
Bill Harp, chairman of the recognition luncheon that was held on Tuesday at Meadowlark Country Club, says it's important to have these lunches.
“Twenty-five years ago, we did not recognize them as a community and that’s why I suggested we start this twenty-five years ago and it’s been going ever since. It’s one of the most popular things we do."
They have celebrated more than 700 recipients that have provided more than 104,000 hours of community service to north-central Montana communities.
