GREAT FALLS — Numerous people in Great Falls have reported hearing several loud noises withing the last hour, with some claiming they sounded like gunshots and others saying fireworks.
Some people also reported hearing the sound of squealing tires at about the same time.
People reported hearing the sounds from the following areas:
- 3rd Avenue North/6th Street
- Riverview area
- Countryside Village
- Black Eagle
- Gibson Park
Several people have called the Great Falls Police Department about the noises.
At this point, there is no confirmation from the GFPD of any gunshots.
