GREAT FALLS — Great Falls will soon be home to the Hokkaido Ramen & Sushi Bar.
The new restaurant will be in the Great Falls Marketplace in the space formerly occupied by Pizza Hut, right next to Cold Stone Creamery.
Macek Property Management said in a news release that Hokkaido began renovating the space in mid-January.
When complete, the 3,774-square foot restaurant will feature quick-service, take-out, and dine in options.
There is no word yet on when the new restaurant will open; we will update you when we find out.
The owners of Hokkaido also own and operate Nagoya Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi in Helena.
The website for the company states: "Our specialties are the Garlic Tonkotsu Ramen, the Spicy Miso Ramen, and the Unagi Don, but whatever you order, it’s sure to be delicious!"
The reaction to the news on the KRTV Facebook page was overwhelmingly positive, with scores of people giving "thumbs up" and "like" reactions and tagging their friends, but there were some people who were less enthused about it:
