GREAT FALLS — The business formerly and briefly known as the Overtime Sports Bar on the east side of Great Falls has re-opened - but with a new name and a new mission.

Located in the former Eddie's Supper Club at 3725 2nd Avenue North, Overtime opened briefly in August 2018, but then closed.

But within the last couple of weeks, there has been activity at Overtime, and customers have been filtering in.

The owner of the Overtime had medical issues and sold the building to Dale Yonkin and his wife Boungyob, who are re-branding it as the Portage Supper Club. The name is in honor of Lewis & Clark, who portaged around the Missouri River during their historic trek through the region.

The Yonkins say they will offer a sit-down dining area, and separate bar area.

The kitchen is still being renovated and they expect it to be ready within a couple of months. A new sign for the restaurant is in the works, too.

They are now serving sandwiches from the Montana Sub Shop.

They plan to be open from 8 am. to 11 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays.

Eddie’s Supper Club closed in June 2017 when the owners decided to retire after decades in the building.
