GREAT FALLS — January 9th marked the start of the 2020 Miss Rodeo Pageant, a four-day competition where contestants compete for 2020 titles while reigning titleholders celebrate a successful year under their belt .
During their year-long reign Miss Rodeo Montana Kayla Seaman and Miss Teen Rodeo Montana Rebecca Stroh chose to bestow six belts and buckles on those who made a special impression on them.
Seaman said, “We just wanted them to be able to know that they're a part of the rodeo family, too.”
Only one belt and buckle remains, which means the last recipient will be selected this week.
“We’re hoping to find some special rodeo fan this week and be able to share a little bit of the love...a little thing that makes cowboys and cowgirls exactly what they are,” Seaman said.
Both rodeo queens have relished the chance to help the community they love.
“It’s been an incredible opportunity to be able to give back to people in just a little way,” Seaman said.
