GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Public Library has teamed up with the Great Falls Job Service to help people who are looking for work fine-tune their resume and find a job.
Workforce consultants from the Job Service are stationed at the library Tuesdays through Fridays from 2:00 to 4:45 p.m. They can help create resumes, cover letters, prepare for interviews and even apply for unemployment insurance, all in a private space. Consultants can also help navigate how to apply for jobs online.
"They’re struggling to do a job search because so many employers do use online platforms for applications and a lot of them can be cumbersome and overwhelming to someone who isn’t tech savvy. Our staff is there. They will walk them through that application process,” explained Great Falls Job Service manager Beth Schmidt.
The Great Falls Job Service is closed to the public for walk-in service right now, but people can still make an appointment to meet with someone in person for more extensive resources and help.
To schedule an appointment, call 406-791-5800 or email: greatfallsjsc@mt.gov.
On Wednesday, October 7th, the Great Falls Job Service is hosting an online job fair via Zoom from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m.
