Halloween events in Great Falls (another update!)

GREAT FALLS — It's almost Halloween - the time of year for costume parties, candy, and creativity. Halloween falls on a Thursday this year, and there are plenty of events to celebrate in the days leading up to it in Great Falls - here is a look at some of them:

Candy, Cauldrons, and Costumes: Come join the Children’s Museum of Montana for some spooky fun, Friday October 25th. Experience some fun filled Trick or Treating and games that are going to be a scary good time! Enjoy awesome carnival games, karaoke, and candy of course! From 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Haunt Phobia: This is family run and we take donations each year to give back to the community. It's located at 411 Sweetgrass Court. Monetary donations will go to LOVE, a local foster care non-profit. Can food donations will go to the Food Bank. Call 231-1208 for any questions or if you want to help SCARE! Scheels Great Pumpkin Run: Run or walk the 5K or 1K with your pumpkin on Saturday, October 26, at Gibson Park. Prizes for first Individual, Team of 2 or Team of 4, to cross the 5K finish line without dropping their pumpkin. Dress up in your favorite costume. Proceeds go to Benefis Healthcare Foundation's Circle of Hope. 5K run/walk starts at 9:00 am. 1K run/walk starts at 10:00 am. Register online at Runsignup.com. Halloween Pet Photos: Stop by Fetch on October 26 from 2:30 pm to 4:40 pm for a Halloween photoshoot with your pet! Join photographer Addie Ahern and her Halloween-inspired backdrop for a photo session with your pet. Feel free to bring a pet costume! Cost is $20. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Great Falls Animal Shelter! Facebook event page.

Scream At Centene: The haunted house will be on Wednesday and Thursday (October 30 and 31) from 7pm-11pm at Centene Stadium. Admission is just $10, or $7 with a canned food donation. Trail Of Terror: Organizers says it is the only outdoor haunt event in Great Falls. It's organized by Sparkettes of Montana, who say: "We work hard at finding ways to scare the crap out of you. Come out and see if we can do it." This is a walking trail. Dress weather appropriate. We will have food vendors some nights. Price is $15 adult, $10 student, $35 for a family of 5. Dates are Friday, October 25, and Saturday, October 26; Thursday, October 31; Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2. It's located at 4800 10th Avenue South (behind U-Haul). Kid-friendly Trunk or Treat: Thursday, October 31, from 5 pm to 7 pm at New Hope Lutheran Church (3125 5th Avenue South). It will be in the church parking lot. Bring your friends and neighbors! We hope to see you there! Click here for the Event page on Facebook.

Harvest Party: The event will be at the Vineyard Church/McKinley Head Start (1617 6th Avenue North) from 5 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, October 31. Bounce House, Popcorn & Hot Chocolate, Face Painting, Sensory Table, and a Disney Movie. Event page on Facebook.

Gardner's Ghosts, Goblins, and Ghouls Halloween Event: From 4 pm to 7 pm on October 31st. Safe and secure environment to enjoy your Halloween festivities! Go door to door in our campers for lots of candy and enjoy a fun filled evening. HUGE AMOUNTS OF CANDY AND FUN FOR ALL! Games and Prizes! Located at 3928 Tri Hill Frontage Road. Safe Trick Or Treat: Come downtown on Halloween for the annual Safe Trick or Treat from 3 pm to 5 pm. Participating businesses will have the poster in their windows and will be handing out candy to all of the ghosts and goblins! NOTE: Streets will not be closed for this event, please be sure to follow pedestrian traffic signals. Click here for the Event page on Facebook.

Kids Funtastic Fall Festival: Thursday, October 31 - billed as "Montana's Biggest and Best" Halloween carnival for kids and families happens - and it's FREE! This year KF3 is going bigger than ever. From 5 pm to 9 pm at the Four Seasons Arena and Exhibition Hall at the Montana ExpoPark. Dress in your favorite movie character costumes and come enjoy KF3 : Movie Mania. Harvesting For Him: At First Presbyterian Church (1315 Central Avenue) on October 31 from 6 pm to 8 pm; fun, food, treats, games. For more information, call Alissa at 406-231-2348.

Trunk Or Treat: At Faith Lutheran Church on October 31st from 6-8:00 p.m. Safe community activity for kids. The front portion of the parking lot will be closed to thru traffic so kids can trick or treat at each of the decorated cars. The church social hall will also be open so you and your kids can warm up and make some crafts. There will be games located inside for the kids to participate in too. Harvest Party: Set Free Ministries is having its annual Harvest party 216 9 Street North on Halloween night 6-9pm we will have carnival games, face painting, and TONS of candy and prizes including bikes we are giving away! We also will have an amazing blacklight show!! Entire event is free and open to the public. Questions please call 406-750-5647
