GREAT FALLS — Some high school students are restarting their unique effort to help support businesses in Great Falls.

The Great Falls High School Business Professionals Club will be conducting a flashmob from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Hallmark shop in Holiday Village Mall.

The goal is to encourage people to come shop at the store.

The group began flashmobs in March 2020 with the goal of doing one at a different business each month, but because of the pandemic the club was only able to do the one in March and then one in October.

“We actually started Flashmob Saturdays for COVID, noticing that businesses were struggling then, but now more than ever we believe Flashmob Saturday could really help the small businesses in our community,” said Great Falls High School senior Baylee Furthmeyer.

The club now plans to host one flashmob a month.
