The City of Great Falls said on Monday, February 3, 2025, that Second Avenue South is closed to traffic between 29th Street and 30th Street.
The closure is due to a water service leak that is causing "severe icing issues" caused by the sub-zero temperatures.
A plumbing company has been called and repairs to the private water service should be completed by Thursday, February 6th.
