GREAT FALLS — There’s a new way for you (and visitors) to explore our community - the Great Dam Pass from the Visit Great Falls Montana tourism agency.
It's not an app that you have to download - it's a free service that you sign up for on the Visit Great Falls website. Once you register, you receive occasional emails that highlight new places and events to explore each month.
Some of the places also come with incentives, like getting a discount at a store if you show that you’ve signed up for the pass. Participating businesses and organizations include Brush Crazy, Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, Roadhouse Diner, and 2Js Fresh Market.
If you check in at 10 or more of the locations, you’ll be entered into a drawing for things like a free T-shirt from the tourism organization.
“I think that Great Falls has a lot to offer, but not a lot of people know about it. It’s just one way we can get people out and about exploring when events aren’t really happening. It just motivates them and, maybe, might cheer them up. Like, ‘Hey, I can get 20% off at Real Deals? Yeah, I’ll go outside today,’” said Marisela Hazzard, Great Falls Montana Tourism Content Director.
Great Falls Montana Tourism will also use the pass to share important information about the coronavirus.
You can register for the Great Dam Pass on the Visit Great Falls website, which includes this overview:
