GREAT FALLS — Emergency crews are at the scene of a crash in Great Falls.

It happened at about 2:15 p.m. at the intersection of 2nd Avenue North and 38th Street.

Two vehicles are involved - an SUV and a car.

Northbound traffic on 38th Street is currently blocked, and so is eastbound traffic past the intersection on 2nd Avenue North.

Responding agencies include the Great Falls Police Department, Great Falls Fire Rescue, and Great Falls Emergency Services with two ambulances; at least one person was taken to Benefis Health System hospital.

At this point, there is no word on whether there have been any serious injuries, nor the cause of the crash.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible - or expect delays - as emergency crews work to clear the scene.

We will update you if we get more details.
