GREAT FALLS — Diversity- it's not just in our bodies but our blood as well. According to the American Red Cross, diversity of blood helps meet the needs of their diverse patient base.
Donors of various ethnicities are urged to donate, as a wider variety in blood supplies helps ensure that blood recipients receive the donations they need.
The American Red Cross is creating opportunities for Montanans to help those rare-type recipients.
For the next three weeks blood drives will be held across Montana.
