GREAT FALLS — Some Cascade County Sheriff's deputies visited Chief Joseph Elementary School in Great Falls on Friday - but they weren't there to make an arrest.

The deputies were there to deliver thank-you notes to one of classrooms for making them thank-you cards for 9/11.

Deputies Kadner and Kambic visited Mrs. Keeler’s fifth-grade class to say thank you for making the cards and posters in remembrance of 9/11 and for their service.

The deputies brought the students badges, and pictures of two new Sheriff's Office vehicles, and then hosted a Q and A session for the students.

Then they took the kids outside to let them check out the new K-9 vehicle.

Thanks to Lindsey Kadner, the wife of Deputy Kadner, for sharing these photos and video with KRTV!
