GREAT FALLS — Christmas break has arrived for many families, but most parents still must work. “There are a lot of families who have to work right up to Christmas," said Sonya Smith, director of the Boys and Girls club in Great Falls.
“For the holidays when school is out, we are open from 8am to 5:30pm and we are serving breakfast, lunch, and a snack during the time that they are here, kids can come all day. Kids can come part-day and join in at no cost," Smith said.
The Boys and Girls Club has have lots of activities for the kids to keep busy.
“We do serve kids in the computer lab the art room, we have some education programs that we run, we offer and sports and a recreation game room - we have variety of things going at all times."
Another option if you want to take your kids to learn about animals: The MacLean Cameron Animal Adoption Center has you covered.
It’s a program called Kids Animal Camp, which allows kids to interact and learn about animals, and it will be held on December 26 and 27. Among the activities:
