GREAT FALLS — Shopping at some businesses during the first week of March will help raise money for a non-profit that is working to address housing needs in Cascade County.

NeighborWorks Great Falls’ annual fundraiser runs March 1-6.

Five businesses will donate a portion of their profit to NeighborWorks; click here to see the list.

Other businesses, including Embark Credit Union, Wells Fargo, PayneWest Insurance, and Universal Lending will conduct a phone-a-thon to raise money. Montana Credit Union and Chicago Title Company will be raising money internally.

The fundraiser is especially important this year because it will help fund services in response to the pandemic.

"Obviously, this year's very different than a lot of years, so we are offering a lot of other resources for our neighbors including rental counseling, eviction prevention support, foreclosure prevention counseling. Those resources are crucial for our community,” said Chelsey Hutmacher of NeighborWorks Great Falls.

If you do not want to participate in the fundraiser through the businesses, you can also donate directly to NeighborWorks Great Falls.
