The 72-year-old man who died in Great Falls after he was struck by a vehicle Friday night has been identified.
Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter identified the victim as George Mike Blackbird of Great Falls.
Blackbird was hit while crossing 2nd Avenue North near 49th Street in the vicinity of The Loft restaurant just after 10:30 p.m. Friday.
The Great Falls Police Department said the incident was not a "hit and run."
As of Sunday, no one had been arrested or charged in connection with the crash.
The GFPD was investigating.
