After the sun went down Thursday night, fireworks lit up the night sky for the 4th of July.
The Great Falls fireworks display started just after 10 p.m. from West Bank Park.
Officials closed a stretch of River Drive so the people could find a seat near Elks-Riverside Park, which is considered the best place to watch the show.
