CASCADE — At 5:30 p.m. Monday evening, officers with the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office responded to a rollover at 46 Upper Camp Lane.

Mary Denn, 44 years old, and Candy Grund, 51 years old, are the victims. Both are confirmed dead, Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter told MTN News Tuesday morning.

They were reversing out of Denn’s driveway when the vehicle failed to stop and rolled off a ledge. The vehicle rolled once over the ledge and came to a stop 50 feet from the hill.

Both females were ejected, and Mercy Flight was called out to the scene.

Both received blunt force trauma to head and body.

This is a developing story, and MTN News will provide updated information on the incident as it becomes available.

Correction: Our original article incorrectly listed the name and age of one of the victims as Candy Grimm, 42 years old. Upon conferring with the Cascade County Sheriff’s Office and one of the family members of a crash victim, the identity and age have been corrected to Candy Grund, 51 years old.
