GFFR picks up stranded boaters on Missouri River

Emergency crews lent some stranded boaters a helping hand Friday afternoon on the Missouri River.

Great Falls Fire Rescue responded around 3 p.m. to a report of a river rescue. Crews were stationed along River Drive North near the skate park.

Initial reports indicate authorities picked up people stranded on jet skis. It appears the people were unable to make it to shore.

There have been no reports of injuries.
