Some of us may take certain days for granted, but one woman living with multiple sclerosis says that’s not an option for her MS community.

Great Falls resident Zoe Maclay officially received her diagnosis several years ago, but has experienced symptoms her entire life.

She says with proper diet, exercise and support from friends and family, she’s been able to stay positive even on the days where symptoms are worse.

Area residents can learn more from Zoe and the MS community, who will wear bright orange in honor of MS Awareness, at Saturday’s Walk MS event in Great Falls.

“My MS Community – the men and the women who I’ve had the honor to be friends with and to travel this path with – are amazing, strong fighters, all in their own way,” she said. “This is such a strange experience and so they get it.”

The walk takes place Saturday at 10 a.m. at The Rivers Edge Trail in Gibson Park. Attendees are also encouraged to wear bright orange.
