The construction on 10th Avenue South between 14th and 15th streets will soon offer a new and improved Town Pump.
The old Town Pump convenience store at the address was recently demolished and land adjacent to it was acquired, which will allow room for the new building.
The new convenience store will be 10,000 square feet and offer a better parking flow.
The store will be similar to the new Town Pump building just across the street and will offer similar items.
Town Pump Corporate Communications Manager Bill McGladdery said the spot serves the need for the people traveling on the south side without having to cross traffic.
The gas pumps will remain in the same location and will still be Exxon.
The construction is being done by Guy Tabacco Construction out of Great Falls and is estimated to be complete in nine months.
