GREAT FALLS – It might not be summer yet, but the Black Eagle Volunteer Fire Department Association is already looking forward to the Fourth of July.

This year’s theme is “Parade of Stars — Local Heroes.”

The association is now accepting applications for those looking to be in the 10th annual 4th of July Parade.

The applications to be in the parade are located in the mail box by the flag pole at the Black Eagle Volunteer Fire Station, or you can download an application from their Facebook page.

The association is also looking for nominations for this year’s grand marshals.

They are asking for members of the community to nominate people they feel should be recognized for their achievements.

To nominate someone, they ask for you to write a letter to Black Eagle Fire Department, PO Box 533, Black Eagle, Mt 59414

The association will announce whom they have selected at a later date.
