(GREAT FALLS) Local businesses in Great Falls are looking to do some spring cleaning.

“There’s some things that I just have mounds of that we need to get rid of for five bucks,” said Alison Fried, owner of Dragonfly Dry Goods.

Six businesses will be participating in a warehouse sale starting Thursday and going until Saturday.

Those businesses are:

  • Downtown Dice & Games
  • Motifs
  • Dragonfly Dry Goods
  • The Blue Rose
  • Bighorn Outdoor Specialists
  • Inge’s Fashion

Fried says this is a great way to catch a glimpse of what other shops sell.

She says all the stores downtown are so unique from each other that she never feels like she is in competition with them.

“We all sell so many different things. If I don’t have the perfect thing, even on regular day-to-day, to be able to say that maybe Motifs or Blue Rose, Inges or Big Horn might have this,” Fried said. “We really try to be careful about product being diverse that we get every day. The mix of product here is going to be crazy different and super great deals.”

Fried hopes that this warehouse sale will inspire people to shop locally.

“We love being a part of downtown and the community. The reason we exist, though, is because customers and our surrounding areas come and support us. We’re excited for this sale and just every day being in retail,” Fried said.

The sale will take place on the following days and times:

  • Thursday, April 4: 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
  • Friday, April 5: 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, April 6: 11:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

It is located at the former Cascade Opticians building at 2 5th St. N.

All stores will accept cash and cards. All sales are final.

Fried says if she has any items left over, she plans to donate them.
