The Great Falls Rescue Mission hosted two banquets Monday to thank its donors.
They held two banquets at 12 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Mansfield Convention Center.
The meals were accompanied by music and stories of people who have been helped by the Rescue Mission.
Director Jim Kizer said the banquet is a good way to update people on the organization.
He said on top of thanking people who have donated, they also receive new donations to help them through their slower time of year.
“We have people here at this banquet from all over. We’ve got some people from Havre, some people from Chester, some people from Lewistown, all over, and it takes all of us to make it all happen and so I just thank them all. We have a very, very giving community.”
They expected about 700 people to attend the two meals.
