GREAT FALLS – Organizers say the #MeToo Awareness Celebration, an event being held Sunday, will make you feel inspired, rejuvenated and empowered.

During the event, speakers will share their stories of sexual assault and also share avenues and outlets in the community.

Presenters include Judge Elizabeth Best, Great Falls High School Principal Heather Hoyer, YWCA Executive Director Sandy Filipowicz and Tara Walker Lyons.

There will also be music, poetry and dancing.

Janel Brandon, a #MeToo Celebration committee member, told MTN News, “Our desire with this event is to cultivate an atmosphere, where people from all walks of life can come together and find just a neutral atmosphere.”

Brandon hopes attendees will “find hope, strength, and be empowered and inspired to go forward in purpose.”

The event will take place this Sunday, March 31, at 11:30 a.m. at Alexander Temple.
