The Great Falls Park and Recreation Department is once again offering swimming lessons at the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind.

The school opened its pool to the community following the closure of the Morony Natatorium.

Mechanical issues forced the Mustang Center Pool to close in January, which impacted programs including water aerobics, therapeutic classes, and swimming lessons.

Now, repairs are complete and swimming lessons resumed Saturday.

Registration for lessons is now open. The Montana School for the Deaf and Blind is located at 3911 Central Avenue.

You can contact Marian Permann, the aquatics supervisor, at 452-3733 or the Park and Recreation Office at 771-1265 for more information.
