The 2019 class of KRTV’s Five Under 35 was honored Wednesday at a special luncheon. Each year, the Five Under 35 initiative wraps up by bringing new honorees together with prior winners and community leaders.

This year, KRTV recognized Rebecca Hannant, Hillary Shepherd, Thomas Risberg, Ashley Romeo, and Scott Reasoner. They each represent different sectors of Great Falls, but are like-minded in attitude and action.

Five Under 35 was created six years ago by KRTV’s Shannon Newth as a way to boost morale, and start conversations about what is going well in Great Falls, and how the community can improve specifically when talking about the young adult population.

This year, the final five were chosen from around 60 nominations from the community.  Shannon interviewed each of the final five, and not only shared their stories, but also got their thoughts on Great Falls.

It’s a platform to hear from young adults. Each honoree was asked two questions, what does Great Falls have going for it, and how can Great Falls improve?

Since we don’t have enough to share all of their responses to both questions, here’s a web extra video with more of their thoughts on Great Falls.
