The Cascade County Commission has issued a travel advisory for rural portions of Cascade County.

High wind conditions have created difficult conditions for plowing efforts with roads drifting back in shortly after being plowed.

Due to the conditions, the county advises residents to limit their travel as much as possible outside of Great Falls and to be aware the ability to return home might be impacted.

As plow crews continue to work throughout the county, the Cascade-Simms road is drifted shut while the South Eden, West Eden, and Ross roads are experiencing rapid drifting as well.

Drivers are advised to use caution on all rural roads in Cascade County.
