The Cascade County Public Works Department has closed a section of Sheep Creek Road outside of Cascade.
Barricades have been placed at the cattle guard and fishing access at approximately a quarter of a mile south of 719 Sheep Creek Road
An ice jam on the Missouri River has caused the water and ice to come over the road just south of the dike at the irrigation canal.
It is unknown how long the road will remain closed.
