GREAT FALLS— According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, 1.4 billion chicken wings will be eaten on Super Bowl Sunday this year, as the New England Patriots face off against the Los Angeles Rams. That statistic has not been lost on Great Falls restaurants and sports bars.

From 65-inch-TVs to snowboards, local restauranteurs are using every marketing technique at their disposal to entice fans on game day. Per National Restaurant News, the average American adult spends $81.30 eating out on Superbowl Sunday. $12.5 million is spent on pizza annually, forked over by the largest viewing demographic: American adults 35-44.
While some sports bars have opted to close their doors for the day, most are taking advantage of the economic opportunity Super Bowl LIII is offering.
