Great Falls High School is inviting the public to an exhibition at the Dahl Gallery.

The exhibit features the work of local photographer Robert Kruithoff, who is currently serving Great Falls Public Schools as the 2018-2019 artist in residence.

The program is partnered with the Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art to give students a chance to learn from professional artists.

The work on display include photos of landscapes, concerts, and aircraft.

Kruithoff will give an artist talk at a gallery reception Thursday, January 24 starting at 3:15 p.m. with the reception running until 4:30 p.m.

The work on display includes some of photos he uses to encourage students’ interest.

“One of the most important things that you can do as somebody who possesses a skill is to teach other people to do it,” said Kruithoff. “You don’t stand to gain anything by hoarding that information so if I can share it with people and inspire them in any way to give them an opportunity to explore their creative side then that’s what I like to do.”

The artist talk is free and open to the public. The work will be on display until March 10.
