(GREAT FALLS) The Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center will host its annual Tree Of Love Memorial Gathering and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, December 20, from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

People are invited to recognize and honor beloved pets who have died and are missed.

Guests will enjoy hot chocolate, cookies and fellowship while celebrating the lives of our furry friends. Names will be read out loud before the holiday tree lights turn on. The ceremony will begin at 6 p.m.

“Our pets mean the world to us,” Pam Volk, the MCAAC executive director, said in a press release. “The Tree of Love pays tribute to animals and the people who love and miss them dearly. Every light on our tree represents the true miracle of unconditional love that our pets give us during their lifetime.”

This event is free and open to everyone.

If anyone would like to submit the names of pets to be included in the program, registration forms can be found on the Maclean website by clicking here . A suggested donation of $20 per pet name is appreciated.

All proceeds benefit the MCAAC and its mission to care for the animals of our community.
