Toys For Tots will host its annual auction at the Elks Lodge in Great Falls on Saturday evening.
This year in addition to the live and silent auction, they will also be providing a prime rib dinner. There will also be a bake sale.
This auction benefits children in eight counties across the state.
Toys For Tots coordinator Marylou Brewster said last year they collected and bought more than 12,000 toys and helped more than 5,000 kids.
Brewster added this auction is their main fundraiser every year, “If we don’t make money doing this, we don’t buy toys. So this is very, very important to our program. It’s a nice feeling knowing that you can help that many kids in need.”
Doors open Saturday, December 1st at 5:30. Dinner will be served at 6:30 and will then be followed by the live auction at 7:30.
There are 25 main live auction items this year.
They have been selling advanced tickets, but limited tickets are still available for purchase at the door.
