United Materials will begin excavation and gravel improvements on Lower River Road between Overlook Drive and 55th Avenue South (approximately 1 mile north of Missouri River Marine) beginning on November 26.
The work is expected to last about two weeks, depending on weather conditions, according to a press release from United Materials.
Lower River Road will be closed to through traffic during this time; a detour route will be provided via 13th Street South. Local access will be provided at all times.
All areas of construction will be candled off and barricaded for safety purposes.
