The midterm election is just a few days away and Cascade County is already seeing a lot of ballots being returned.
As of Thursday, the Cascade County Elections Office has processed 22,000 ballots.
This is 65% of ballots that were sent out in the mail in October.
Cascade County Clerk and Recorder Rina Moore says they have processed more this year than for past elections.
They have also seen a lot more people come into the Montana Expopark to be issued a ballot.
The elections office is open at the Montana ExpoPark until 5 p.m. and will reopen on Monday at 7 a.m.
Per state law they will be only issuing ballots until noon but people can still drop ballots off.
On Tuesday, Montana Expopark and the rural voting locations will open at 7 a.m.
The rural voting location are in Centerville, Belt, Ulm, Cascade, Fort Shaw, and Vaughn.
You must be inside the polling places before 8 p.m. to be able to vote in the midterm elections.
