(GREAT FALLS) Great Falls sure knows how to celebrate Halloween. With family friendly events all over the Electric City, these are the three that KRTV was able to make it to, and lets just say, these events did not disappoint.
Downtown Safe Trick-or-Treating
The Great Falls Police Department set up shop outside the Downtown Great Falls Association, joining businesses along Central Avenue for a safe trick-or-treating event.
This event gave businesses an opportunity to open their doors and invite the community in and hand out candy.
Despite the chilly weather, the streets were filled with those eager for sweets.
Kids Funtastic Fall Festival
This family-friendly event was jammed pack with families looking to escape the cold.
It was hosted by the Harvest Spring Community Church at Montana ExpoPark in the Four Seasons Arena.
Inside the arena there were carnival games, rides, bounce houses, laser tag, and of course – a lot of candy!
All that, for free!
University of Providence’s Spook-A-Roo Halloween Event
The entire family was welcomed into the University of Providence’s student center for their annual Spook-A-Roo event.
A haunted house was put on by the theater club, along with a photo booth, pumpkin patch, face paint, cookie decorating and truck loads of candy.
This event has been a part of the university for over 21 years now, and student activities coordinator Emily Phillips says its popularity grows every year.
“It’s a place for students to come and have a safe experience to go trick or treating. All of our clubs at the university and organizations get to help out with this event. We look forward to bringing the community together,” Phillips said.
